I had EFS installed in ours and have not looked back, Just returned from an off road tour round Tassie and they were great can't complain at all. although I have never tried OME the 4wd specialist who did ours swapped his landcruiser from OME to EFS and he believed they were an improvement, but thats his opinion which could be based on profit margins. Though I feel we got a great price at $1300 for 2" lift installed the rear is heavier duty as we have drawer and load it up frequently. due to sag over time, weight of the arb bar winch and the fact the vehicle has already done a lap of the country (bought it of an uncle) the front actually came up 78mm. Stoked!! Next treat = Tyres.

Hell yeah, EFS is probably the best mass produced aftermarket suspension system on the market today, however if you go OME you will not be dissapointed, I have never heard anyone say that they wished they never put an EFS or OME kit in, can't really say that for the others.

            Well i'm sold on EFS.
Croozza what are your thoughts on going with a comfort spring in the rear and have airbags as backup for when she's loaded/towing?

It was done by 4WD Connections in Eltham Vic. Good helpful blokes and honest, They used to have a 4wd accessories shop as well but now just the mechanics workshop.

I'm not a fan of helper air bags, I dont have them in mine, I just have a HD spring, good for towing, and there is no noticable difference unladen between it and comfort springs. Air bags are another thing that can play up too. When Simon Christie was doing up his 40 series in Qld, I was towing it on a car trailer, the Prado sat perfectly, and road brilliantly.
The wheel travel is plenty as you can see by my avitar, and that is with std link pins.
