How difficult is it to do it yourself, considering I have had a quote of double the purchase price to install.
I used to fit accessories for a living, and I've gotta say, you need the patience of a saint to replace the rear shocks, believe me getting someone else to do it is well worth it
Pretty much the same sentiments as my mechanic after he did the install

by far are one of the most annoyin rear shock to remove and install... its such a PITA..... oh well thats life i guess... puttin the new ones in is ok but removing the originals is crap as the nuts a hard to loosen
Or you get a bodylift, gives you an extra 2inches to play with
I'd still use stilsons, only because it would still be to hard to get an angle grinder in there and just cut it out.
... but it's a damn good excuse to keep under the belt for use when the time is right 8) 8)

Front: 76cm (down from 77cm)
Back: 81cm (down from 85cm)
Used this measurement as usual...
I finally remembered to take a tape measure last time we took the FIL's boat out. Measured the rear ride height with boat hooked up... 1960kg (empty of gear, approx half load fuel... probably 120lt) + 2 people in back seat + fishing gear, Ice, drinks bait etc... Oh, and another 60lt of fuel so I'm guessing it would come in at around 2200kg + the two people in the back.
(don't know what the ball weight would be but it's a double axle trailer.)
From 81cm the rear dropped to 78cm on both sides. 3cm compression with all that weight!! I'm pretty happy with that

How is the Lovells kit holding up now, with a bit of age?
Out flexed the 120's at the Glasshouse Mountains yesterday
I measured the ride heights a few weeks (months :? ) ago and posted them here... shouldn't too far back in the thread.
Still really liking them... can't fault them actually, especially when you consider the value for money they represent.

Thanks for that. Found your post, thought it was an old post ops:.
Friends are trying to talk me into a complete tough dog setup, but it is a big price difference to the Lovells.
