3 months from finance dept approval to install :shock:
I went with Lovell's Springs all round... Medium duty in the front and HD in the back (putting cargo barrier, half sided draws and possibly 2nd battery in the back soon. As well as towing a 2T boat when we get it... hence the HD)... and Lovell's struts and shocks front and back.
All up around $800.00 installed and aligned.
Wheel arch measurements. (will do again as these were measured on a slight slope)
Front:
Before 745mm after 770mm (25mm gain)
Back:
Before 755mm after 850mm (95mm gain :shock: )
Didn't manage a before shot so here's one from a couple of months ago.
And after shots...
My mechanic says the back should settle a bit in the next few weeks and I'm guessing the extra weight from the new bits going in soon will lower it a bit more at the back.
Drives very well so far, no bounce like I was getting over bumps with the old stuff and feels much more stable around corners.
:?: Anything I should keep an eye on while it settles in??
