      Like those boooots!!!
I run 80 series front springs and rear shocks on my Colorado and the flex is good.I did extent the sway bar links other wise the wheels start to hang (limits droop)
Try diconnection the rear sway bar and see how it is then.

Might give that a try further down the track, it's just got heavy duty springs and 2.5" spacers atm, which was a total of 3" lift, but it's sagged a bit since, It'd be nice to get my flex back and bring it back up in height, so I can wind the front back up.

I was doing some testing and didn't find much different whether sway bars were in or not. I still think I'll extend them and maybe try some flexible bushes for the arms.

                Hey Beast2H,

WIth the 80 series shocks, do you need to lengthen the bump stops.

                Cheers

i lengthened the bump stops to stop the tyres scrubing... if you were running 265/75R16 you probley wouldent have to worry about it!!
i extended the rear sway bar links and it flexes the same with it connected of not!!

                    Hi, Beast2H
Are you still running those LC120 strut/coils in the front or have you change them out?
I have change the front strut/coils to Iron man 2" with 30mm spacer which level the truck out ( the front height ground to bottom of fender lip=1001mm and at the rear=1050mm)
What I've notice is that the upper control arm ball joint bind against the coil when the wheel drop, e.g. when lifting it up in the front or going through a rut where one wheel drops down, ( the sway bars are extended60mm) and that the drive shafts are at quite severe angles. Do you experians the same thing with your set-up? Do you think it need the front diff dropping by say 50mm to compensate for this?

Taresk, I like that front bumper  on your truck, do you have any more close-up shots of it?

Bosvark, these are the closest shots I have of the bumper, this one and this one

As for the diff drop, it's recommended for anything over 40mm lift, as a bit of a safety barrier at full articulation, and to reduce the angle it's sitting at during daily driving.

The ball joint does restrict the travel if you've got long travel struts (that's why I replaced my UCA's with heim jointed ones).

That is one sweet looking bumper!

Those UCA'slook the business Mate. Is the vertical bar that connects the upper with the lower arm still the std one?
You Aussies are spoiled for choice on suspensions, here inthe UK the Land Cruiser market is VERY limited. :x
I will have a go at fabricating a front and rear bumper in the forsciene future but is busy making slider/steps at the moment.
If all goes to plan I might be able to come and play with you in 12mounths time.

Yeah, that vertical bar (cant think of it's proper name off the top of my head) is still standard.

It's the Americans that are spoiled for choice, with the exception of the rear shocks, every aftermarket part of my suspension was imported from the US.

lol yeah, I got the pewter grey paint from work, but I hated it when I saw them fitted up. I now have some wheel silver, so I'll keep them a more standard colour.
