Re: CV boots splitting due to suspension lift ?
I'll be able to have a good look at it tomorrow & may take some photos, not sure what caused it to fail. Seems to me that it's the quality of the boot itself that is the problem as both the drivers side boots (original Toyota) are still OK. I'll ask my mechanic about lowering the front suspension a touch (I think the Bilsteins can be adjusted via a circlip as per the 120's :?: ) as this will bring the driveshafts back to a bit more level position.
Or leave as is & fork out $$$ for genuine boots :?: although I did find that Superior Engineering have inner only "long travel" boots listed on their site http://www.superiorengineering.com.au/p ... ts_id=3677
Not sure what to do at this point........
