  • 2000 model Prado NEW Bilstein + lovells installed

    Hi,

I have just installed new Bilsteins and lovell srings and could not be happier. I kept original height, all parts were purchased from 4wd Direct for $1139 delivered, for all 4 corners. I installed the fronts myself and then had the rears installed when I purchased new tires recently (cooper ATR's) which only cost me $80 bux to get installed(very happy to let them do it for that amount). I had a wheel alignment done at the same time and wow. feels like I am driving a new 4x4 again even with the 195k's that are on the clock.

        Hello

You mentioned that you kept the original height? can you please give me the Part No. for both front and rear shocks? I won a 2001 VX Diesel Prado, and need to redo the suspension.

        Regards

          Hi

          The part numbers are:

          Bilstein Gas Front Shocks BE5-2450M
          Bilstein Gas Rear Shocks BE5-2451M

I put them with Lovell standard height springs:

          TFS-72 front
          TRS-73 rear

Seems like a good combo so far, haven't been able to get off road yet though.

Here is the web site I purchased them through. I can highly recommend this company..the transaction/delivery/support was excellent.
