      If its purely for mud bashing, 35's would be sweet. But on rocks it could get very close the failure point of even the stronger rear axle shafts. If you have lockers, and you really should if you like rocks, then I reckon it the axle shafts are a ticking time bomb.

      Having semi floating axles in the rear means you need a flat bed to get home if you snap a half shaft, unless you can repair it in the field that is

      For rock crawling/steep climbs, 33's are probably the upper limit of what I would trust the 90 series drive line with.

        35" tires give you a super nice ground clearance. Also with 35" will be harder to hit somewhere in the underside.

        Unfortunately they are too big for our front driveline I think. The width and the weight are the most counterproductive things. They are the main causes that give problems.

        I'm with williade, 255/85 ( glen_ep Prado ), 285/75 or 265/80/ ( Super Swamper Radial TSL off road only ).

            It really depends on what the vehicle is being used for.
            I doubt Arctic trucks go through the kind of rough rocky treatment that our Aussie 4x4's do.

                i actually dont see why you would need them, pic the right line up the track and 33s will get you up, i climbed a pretty knarling spot today with just some lift and some 33s (not even a locker :P) look for the day trips in jan thread in trip planning, some photos should be up in a few days
