I've got 265/75 Cooper ST Maxx on my 95 series and reckon they're great. The extra clearance makes fore of a difference than you would think. No problem with clearance for me with a 2 inch lift. Do notice the speedo being slightly out.

2002 Diesel 95, went from std grandtreks to 75 series Wrangler silent armour, offroad performance out of sight improvement, on road, a bit 'duller' feel with the extra unsprung weight but bearable and not in the league of a mud tyre at all. I find it to be a good compromise between offroad ablility and on road perf and safety, which is where most of us spend most of the time. Speedo pretty much on par with GPS, fuel consumption up from around 10/100 to 11l/100km.

A mate recently got BFG mud tyres and I have to say that is another world again, the NHV element steps right up with those. A decent AT tyre seems to be fairly agreeable by comparison.
