Brake pads

Hi All,
anyone know if a set of Bendix brake pads part no; DB1146/4WD would fit my 90 series 02 Prado ? if not what they would fit,

Wouldn't you contact a Bendix dealer or the distributor or are you assuming they subscribe to the forum?

As a minimum I would contact a Toyota dealer parts department. You may be given incorrect advice then where would you stand.

I also thought the whole idea of having a site like this was to get an answer not a ticking off,

my apologies for not displaying a more sensative approach to my reply. My point is that it would be more appropriate and productive to speak with a subject matter expert in a technical field rather that ask for lay opinion. If, say, you got advice and ended up fitting the incorrect pads then who is at fault?

I prefer to inquire about matters that involve the mechanical integrity and longevity of my vehicle to subject matter experts.

Perhaps you could interpret my reply in the manner in which it was intended, advice, rather than a person insult. I recall reading a reply to your post in the "brakes" section giving similar advice to mine. Speak to Bendix...

on my work bench at the moment waiting to be fitted
bendix 1323/4wd for a 98 model prado
