  • does any1 know any cheap tyre places here in brisbane 90 srs

hi, chasing some good 4wd tires.

have had bridgestone duelers on them since ive bought the car, any recomendations from people which brand i should go for and what pricing , in brisbane so a location would be good.

    cheers.

Instead of starting (Another) thread on tyres.

I would seriously suggest having a look thru the previous threads on tyres (In 90/120 sections).
There is SO much information there already that will be very appropriate in pointing you in the right direction for rubber no matter what driving style you have planned.

      team piggy:

Hi , first of all thanks to the moderator for being understanding
now 'team piggy' For your info, ive read through everything through this site and decided to become a member hencefourth, only problem is ive cant find an answer and decided to post sorry if i sound harsh but yeh i know your trying to help which is gud mate. just regarding your quote, 120 section? isnt that a totally different model though?

just to clarify to anyone so i can hopefully get some genuine prado owners out there , this is the first time ive ever had to change the tires on my 4x4 prado. since ive owned it never had too, now from personal experience, what do people recommend... and where abouts in "brisbane" can i knock a good deal. they dont come cheap but its time to change. currently on bridgestone desert duelers havnt 'experienced' any other brand on the 4wd so this is a genuine post.

looking foward to hear from you guys.

      cheers.

It doesnt matter if the vehicle is a 90, 120, or 200 series really. They basically have access to all of the same typ of tyres and user preference / feedback.
There is existing threads on "what tyre is best" and personal feedback from dozens of PP users. So I dont understand exactly what the question is that you are needing to be answered specifically.

One of the guidelines is about new threads that already exist. We dont want this forum to become one of those that has so many "tyre choice" or other "commonly asked question" forums. You do a search on them and end up with 5000 threads the same.
Sadly without this type of moderation this place will head (further ) down that path. We dont do this to play games, its more to make it easier to navigate later for all users.

If your question is about "which tyre should I go for" then its a double (triple, quadruple) copy of an already posted thread.

If its about where to buy tyres in Brisbane then thats a different story and has its merits.
