my 265/75 scrub out on full lock with a 2" lift but i think you can get 33"s under with not much problem.
    or try 38s

Wow Psycho 8, NICE RIDE. Any issues with tracking, alignment or drivability?

I don't know about stock, but I had 285/75R16 on it with 2" suspension lift, before the body lift. It rubbed a weld seam on the back of the front wheel arch a bit, but that isn't too hard to address. BTW, the 285/75R16's fit on the spare wheel carrier, too.

I'm running 235/85 MTRs on GXL rims. They're about 1" taller than the 265/70s on the alloy rims. The lift gained me about 90mm front and rear, but even at full stuff, the tyres wouldn't want to be any bigger as they would foul the front edge of the rear wheel arch.

33x12.50R17 needs some modifications (2" bodylift + 1" spacers on the top of the front coil plates):

275/70R16 fits nicely without any modifications:

I'm running 265/75R16 BFG MT's on standard suspension.

However, whilst they did fit when stationary on flat ground, they would have hit the mudflap area on the front if the wheels where turned out about 45 degress, & the suspension was compressed on the same side.

To remedy, I got the caster adjusted to maximum, which actually brings the wheels forward about 2cm. Enough to avoid any rubbing in normal use. As the tread wears down it is even less likely to rub.

I have had no issues with the wheel alignment, straight line tracking or wearing of the tread either.

                    Cheers
                    Richard

I bought a set of Land Cruiser J8 steel wheels (8x16" offset 0) and Kumho Powergrip KC11 studdable winter tires (285/75R16).

I painted the wheels black/silver and wrapped tires on them.

                        Looks like this now:

But where is the winter? Christmas is already gone... I want snow and ice now.

                          Re: Tyre Size

                          Guys,
Does anyone know whether fitting wheel spacers would help with rub to the front wheel arches or mud flaps?
I'm thinking it would push the wheel slightly outward but can't figure out whether it would help with the rub or just rub in a different place?
Has anyone here fitted wheel spacers?

                          cheers,

                            GN everyone
I am new to the forum
It is a pleasure meeting everyone, but just sharing I use 275-75-16 AT with my stock height and no issues whatsoever
And now i did a 3'' suspension lift and 285/70/17 AT with 17x9 et-12 fit perfectly with no touching even on articulation
