Re: BFGoodrich Mud Terrain T/A KM/KM2 vs BFG All Terrain T/A KO

I have run both the BFG AT and MT in the past and personally I think the they are both great treads. I had more problems with the AT's but that was probably more to do with the terrain (my driving) than the tyre itself.

This point sells it for me. All in all I am not so much fussed about them either way but the muddies do look so much cooler!

FYI I run Hankook RT03 muddies these days and I find them terrific.

Clarky, the floaty feeling you were getting is probably because of the soft compound rubber. The lugs bend a lot when they are new and soft. The rubber will harden up a bit after a little while. They can be a bit dangerous at high speeds for the first month or so, that's my experience anyway.

Thanks for that. They do seem to be getting better. Hopefully it was just because they were new. I am happy with them, but it just caught me by surprise.

I've previous ly run BFG AT and now I have BFGs Mts, old ones. I don't think I'll be going back to AT's.
