The Bridgestone D694's are a pretty good compromise in terms of price compared to the coopers and bfg's. I'm getting a set of 4 (265/70R16 LT) for $260 each from Bob J's.

I know you have already got your tyres (or are about to get them) but just for the thread I have Yokohama Geolander 11+ on at the moment (I think the equivalent now is the Geolander A/T-S) and have about 90,000 kms on them so far and at a rough guess should get to 100,000 kms without going beyond the wear bars. Not to bad for a M+S tyre

They perform well in pretty much all conditions having been from one end of the country to the other (Tas to NT) and considering they are not a dedicated mud tyre but I found that tyre pressures are important. Even 5 psi makes a HUGE difference.

As I'm starting to look into new tyres now I may go with what I know or start looking around at other brands

Has anyone tried the Mickey Thompson ATZ's ? In 4 rib or 5 rib? They didn't fair too well in the 4WD Action comparo, but they seem to get reasonable reviews elsewhere.
Not an A/T but I'm also keen to know what sort of mileage people are getting out of the Wrangler Kevlar MTR's. They seem to be a good compromise between Muddie and A/T at a reasonable price. I'm just concerned about wear, and whether they get noisier, handle badly, crack, chip etc after a bit of wear.

Ive been running the Mickey ATZ 4 ribs on my 90 series for around 10,000k now
Heaps of traction on the rocks, pretty good through mud too, and great on the beach I reckon
I also drive the car daily so I didnt want anything too noisy, there not quiet but nothing id complain about.

Re: what All terrains to go for ?

I have been looking around at a set of new hoops for the bus, Have been mainly looking at the Mickey Thompson 5 rib, the Wrangler Silent armours and the BFG AT KO's....

So far the mickey thompsons are comming in around $80 dearer per tyre from TJM they quoted $405 fitted and ballanced, and BFG's $329 (with current deal) and Wranglers $340.....

i think i will be giving the BFG's a shot once the toy fund replenishes

                Cheers
