    GTG Attendees - Ayers Rock Campground photos.

    Some Ayers Rock Campground Photos of the camper trailer sites we have ben allocated:

    Frist this is a shot of Ayers Rock from a lookout close to the campround, there are several lookouts like this around the resort.



    These next few photos show the allocated camper trailer spots for our group:





    and this is a shot of the Ablution block that is near where our Prado is parked in the first campsite shot.

      How hard is the ground? Last time I was there we could not get any pegs in the ground to secure our soft floor CT. We had to put large rocks into corners of the floor of the camper to keep it from collasping during winds. Participants might think to bring a sledge hammer, 5lb didn't cut it nor 1/4" pegs or find some rocks before getting there!!!

        Good question.
        We camped at Shark Bay, we were lucky where we were, but others were borrowing the van parks hammer drill with masonary bit to get a hole started.
        Might pack a cordless drill..

          I did not check Martin but these are their camper trailer bays so I am guessing they have been hammered into quite a bit. The tenters are going to be in a very nice lawned area near the cabins. I did not take any photos of that area mainly cause I was not certain at the moment which lawn areas would be ready for use as there are 6 or 7 areas.

              The tent areas are great and hopefully you can all be together.
