Thanks for sharing.
What would it be like for a Subaru Outback to go through that area? I'm meeting up with the rest of my clan this Christmas/New year and staying near Gloucester for a few nights. They are taking their Outback.

About ten years ago I crossed most of those rivers in my old Commodore. (There was a Landcruiser there in case I got into trouble) One crossing was a bit deep, but I got through OK. Providing the current is not too strong you shouldn't have too much trouble in your Outback. It all depends on the river flow at the time.Greg - 08 D4D Prado,

Looks great Matt, should be a great trip I reckon... and hopefully the first of many 'bigger' trips for the Snaga clan.Cheers, Leon
There's no such thing as a wrong turn... it's just the scenic route!

Re: Gloucester Tops Run.. To give ya an idea about the GTG area
Hey Matt
I have lost count of the number of times we have toured and camped in the Barringtons and have never seen a sign for "Gondwana Rainforests of Australia" Where in the hell is that, I must drive with my eyes closed and as my better half always says that I keep going until I get where I need to without looking at stuff on the way ops: ops:
In relation to amts question:
"What would it be like for a Subaru Outback to go through that area? I'm meeting up with the rest of my clan this Christmas/New year and staying near Gloucester for a few nights. They are taking their Outback."
For what it is worth we have been down into Water Gauge with a couple of "L" series Subaru wagons and you would be pushed to get worse conditions than that in most areas of the Barringtons.06 GXL D4D, 6spd, Snorkel, ARB bar, XS900 50w HID lights, 55W HID Headlight upgrades, T/bar, 7" GPS, QStarz data logger, 52L Bushman Fridge, Premier winch, Sandgrabbas, GME TX3440, AE4705 antenna, Scangauge II, Dual Batteries, Aero bars & rack, Drawers, 2" Ironman/Rancho/King lift, Under bonnet compressor, Black ducks, Voltage booster, Rear table, AVE TPMS,
