We would like to publicly thank the organisers of the 2010 GTG: Mav, Dayle, Matt; the 3 trip leaders: Samo, Joel, Glenn; the tail end charlie's and any other behind the scenes helpers that made this event as fantastic as it was. If it wasn't for your hard work, enthusiasm, organisation and leadership, the event would not have happened.

The company was brilliant too. It was great being able to put faces to forum names and then try and remember real names as well! From a participant's persepctive, everything ran smoothly. We had such a great time, and will be trying extremely hard to get to next year's event.

thanks for the thanks lacey and quicky, from all of us who had a hand in the GTG we hope you had a great time and enjoyed yourself in "Our Backyard" its a pity the weather wasnt a little better but thats 1 thing we cant control. cheers samo

Bev and I would like to thank all of the organisers who put on a successful 2010 GTG. We had a great time and really enjoyed meeting so many wonderful people. Thanks again.

Yep - I would like to add my thanks to the organisers.

As you would have noticed, I am very much a novice offroader - but had an absolute hoot.

Thanks again, but in particular thanks to Mav and Matt.

Also thanks to the trip leaders, top stuff!

This is the first I have logged on since GTG2010

I Would like to thank absolutely everyone who attended and made this the wonderful trip that it was.
A major part of every great trip or trek is the people that it is shared with, and quite frankly we shared the best of company on the GTG2010 contingent
Special thanks to Mav and Dayle, Matt, Samo (in the 4X ChiWOWA powered GX :mrgreen: ), Glenn and Joel, and Damo for the tireless hours and Kms put in to make an event like this possible.

And remember folks when travelling Beware the dreaded Mexican Staring Parrot :twisted: On our trip we were fortunate enough to have 2 of these rare creatures nested near us. One the rare "ranga mexican staring parrot" was very territorial over the grass outside our camping area ............ the other a landrover........... :twisted: :lol: :lol:

Ryan, I reckon if you had crawled out of your tent on your hands and knees, any bears would have assumed you were one of their own coming out of hibernation and declared mating season open :P

At the risk of this thread returning to its subject, my thanks also to Mav and Dayle, Matt and and all the trip leaders and tail-end-charlies, and all others involved.

To Samo, Joel and Glenn - you guys did an absolute top job - a big call doing the same trip day after day 3 days in a row just to show the rest of us around, please let it be known that it was much appreciated.
