    Title: Miss April

First 4WD journey taken back in February this year. We travelled from Sydney to the Flinders Ranges, Lake Eyre, then on to Alice & Darwin, and back through Mt Isa. There had been much rain in the previous weeks, with Lake Eyre in its second year in a row of flooding.

The rains have flooded areas both to the north and south of Alice Springs, and coincided with treacherous floods in Queensland.. In the Centre, roads were cut in all sorts of places.

    This Image:
The Barkley Highway was cut to all traffic cut until about 2 days before we went through, then 4WD’s were allowed. The weather, and the tracts of water everywhere made for one of the highlights of our journey.

    GPS: Barkly Highway: 19° 26’ 01 S, 135° 24’ 01 E

    With thanks,

    bworth

While we know the Prado excels in the dirt, mud, gravel, sand, snow etc.... there's no reason not to show off the sleek shiny lines to other jealous soft-roaders in the city
