Let's not get a list of attendees running here just yet. We will probably put an online form together for people to register their intentions to attend. That will just be easier.

As El Presidente, Head Honcho, the Big Cheese, The Big Kahuna, the Fat Bastard has said, we have our first meeting this week. Once we get past all of MLC's useless and pointless chatter, and SAPRADOGXL makes good of his red wine, we will probably have 4 or 5 minutes left to discuss the GTG.

Sent an email to all the committee, I have been demoted from the role as big kahuna on the committee, SWMBO has decided that as we are likely to talk crap all night and get nothing achieved she is going to run the meeting

Willcannia BTW is most definately worth a stop, I wouldn't camp there over night but that place has some of the most magnificent old buildings you will will find anywhere. I even used the local facilities when we stopped on the way to the QLD GTG, not flash but not the worst I have ever used.

NEWSFLASH: PradoPoint President chained to apron strings

In his first media release the recently self appointed 2nd official unofficial President of the internationally recognised PradoPoint Forum, a forum of Prado owners with members from all over the world but commonly accepted as having its seat of Power the the financially stable haven of Australia said"
I am an apron whipped mummy's boy" or misquoted words to that effect and admitted his wife was the brains of his outfit. The shock announcement has rocketed through the PradoPoint community causing severe unrest and even effected resale values of 90, 120 and 1450 Prados. A spokesman for Toyota Australia said" we will continue with the exact same support we have provided PradoPoint while they work through this embarrassing and difficult time."

Members of the randomly elected 2012 GTG committee did not comment today, largely because we don't know them and could not find them. One interviewer purportedly said, "I bet they would say a lot of nasty shit about such an outrageous coo. Imagine actually admitting your wife is the true power and brains behind the leadership. Next thing you know we will find out she did all his mods!"

An unofficial note was slipped under the editors door from an unknown source saying "someone should blow up women, they are taking over the world. These meetings are about mateship, drinking, planning recces and banter, not that poofy decision making stuff. The threat of blowing up women meant the letter was handed to police. At this time they suspect the writer is either a fisherman, works on a boat, is handy at bush welding or a skilled electrician, CAD drawer or possibly holds a doctorate in psychology. Anyone having suspicions or leads should call Constable Care on 1800drugs.

Meanwhile, members have said "This would never have happened in the good on Richo days, now there was a leader with strong values that he never wasted by applying them. Whats it all coming too."

This is what happens when you Take your wife to a GTG, she realises just how much fun we have and like all women then feel the need to take over!

MLC's incessant banter is just a distraction as he is worried that once again Trish will be able to get up and over sand dunes 1st go, leaving MLC embarrassed that it took him 13 attempts to get up. If this isn't embarrasing enough for Rob, his girlfriend also had to go for a drive with Trish to experience what it's like to get it up first time, aparantly Rob has some difficulty in this area

Well, now you’ve gone and done it Rob; you’ve made me “cross the line”…I’ve gone and broken my cardinal rule:

"Never, in any way be seen or heard to encourage talk about PradoPoint as it may be seen to constitute approval of said forum"

I’ve actually gone and joined as a member (you can literally hear PradoPoint Widows the world over groaning collectively … “say it isn’t so”) in order to defend the honour of my husband … here goes.

Nah, bugger that … he’s totally apron-whipped (speaking figuratively of course because I have another cardinal rule – “don’t bake unless you can’t possibly avoid it” and therefore don’t actually own an apron).

If I promise to let you talk shit, drink beer and brag about how good your rig is at every meeting (we could even make it an agenda item if you like), will that make you feel better? I won’t even complain if you hock a lugie and spit (although Ianz Dad may have issues with it).

Whoa whoa whoa...... Now THIS is going too far. I had always envisaged PradoPoint as a group of blokes talking S*^t. Now that there is going to be someone sensible on this forum, what are we all to do??

On a more serious note: If you have any serious questions that you need answers for regarding the 2012 GTG, please contact MrsAJ120. The rest of us are just along for the fun. We didn't actually realise there was organising to do. According to my wife I couldn't organise a root in a brothel... let alone a national GTG...

See folks you thought all we did last year was had a shed load of fun, drink beer,go camping and 4 wheel driving, when really we were putting on a brave face. It was all serious stuff cheese platters,clothing selections, menu planning, accommodation reviews(are there toilets and showers with soft water) entertainment options (are there suitable coffee establishments, boutiques cheese factories etc).

I can't believe all this panic, I am not sure who the girl in this group really is? I am far more concerned about my sweet innocent wife being corrupted by this forum rather than the other way round. I have been informed that we have to leave early to go to Adelaide on Friday as SWMBO wants to drop in at CMI Toyota and check out an FJ cruiser............. Which is great but you guys are going to have to chip in and help me pay for it
