    The truth is that if we were still in Adelaide, we would have been there, no ifs or buts. BUT we leave for the APY Lands again in 3 weeks and I have 2 chances of holidays
    Anyway if I won't win the fridge then that makes me feel better about not being able to make it
    Our 6 year old and 3 year old try their hardest to make sure there is no time or money for the other baby

        Those of you with next generation 4WDers (aka rug-rats) might like to know that ARB are working with the committee to put together something for them too. It's something that may or may not have been considered by the committee...right Dave, Rob?...so we're grateful that ARB are looking at the big picture!

        I had a look at registrations the other day and we've got about 90 people coming along, and 20 of those are kids! Should be a riot.

              Trish. I think you've got these numbers wrong. There are probably around 60 kids coming, and 30 adults (read, humans of the female kind).

              As far as activities for the kids goes, I need a new timing belt, and the gearbox and diffs need some oil changed. I'd be happy for ARB to show the kids how to go about this and demonstrate using my car. While they're at it, they can show the kids how to install a Warn winch. What can I say, I'm a generous bloke...

                    Hi All

                    Unfortunately I wont be able to make it to this years event (MLC you may need those KLEENEX tissues you bought from WOOLWORTHS) as my SWMBO won't be able to get leave. I did mention that I could tough it out alone (with 90 other Pradopointers), the next comment was that she could just quit work and then we can both go.

                    As I'm not wealthy enough for a "Trophy Wife" and there is more stuff required for the 150 thats me out. I have passed this info onto the Pradopoint Fairy" and he/she is looking into the alternative co-conspirators for the event. This doesn't mean that the SA guys will get away without sledging, practical jokes and other mayhem as the Qlder's attending will be suitablly armed and informed.

                    PS: If divorce occurs prior to the event then I'm IN.
