Hey, just a quick update, I've ordered a lift so we will see what it's like from another level. Should be here next week and hopefully installed soon after. Hopefully we won't need that little bit of assisstance on "Billygoat Ridge" next time!2003 GXL Burgundy Dual Fuel Prado

Hope you all have room for one of these come September. lol
The FJ finally landed. Only about 2months to go for me to kit it out.
It will be tight, but I should get the mods done in Time.
Here's a sneak peak, 24hrs old and quite naked.
She'll be transformed for the GTG though.
cheersStewy

I can hear the cash register ringing up the mods already. Don't forget to take plenty of pics for the "My rig buildup" forum section. Seeing as how the FJ has impeccable heredity, it will be interesting to see how it performs Stewy. Last weekend my lifted 120 would have had trouble in a couple of Spots around Ormeau. But the FJ didn't touch down anywhere in stock form. Absolutely fell in Luv with A-Trac. And drivin an AUTO. Why didn't I get one of these B4?
I quickly learn't that having an Auto allows you to pose in precarious angles for the camerman. lol
cheersStewy

Will you have a tanker in tow due to the thirsty v6 and tiny tank?
Responsibilities include showing diesels how to drive on sand, effective acceleration from traffic lights, how to get places late at night without waking up the neighborhood, idling without changing lanes, not creating black snow storms, not leaving greasy residue on the car floor after filling up, reducing servicing costs, there is more but I'm sure you will demonstrate these.
See ya on the tracks, Richo.

No worries Richo. That 4ltr V6 defintely does have some poke.
More G's than my old 2005 4ltr V6 I had in the Lux.
I'll wave the flag for the Petrols whilst at the GTG, they won't even hear me comin as I shoot past. lol
I agree though, harnessing all that power does come at a $$$ at the bowser.
But it aint all that bad as the smoothness and power of the V6 is a nice change.
Wooley, I've got the small main tank worked out. Agree that 72ltrs isn't much for touring, which is why a LongRanger is being fitted.
A 190ltrs all up should be sufficient, so all should be good.
Looking forward to all banter at the GTG, but I'm not put off... "the FJ will hold its own"
