Bring the bits to the GTG so we can all stand around and watch and give advice as you try to install them.

There will be a few last minute mods getting fitted at the start of the GTG, a couple of sets of sliders as a start, people standing around offering advice is always useful in these situations

      Cheers Andrew

While staying in room A1, I was offered one biscuit. Would you like a melting moment or the other type. I admit it, I was seriously miffed? What part of " that's a dumb question" didn't they understand?

I wanted at least one of each, and then only to decide of which I wanted more.

                      • Well I got the camper trailer into the shed tonight, poor thing is looking a bit neglected after sitting idle for a couple of months. Got the wheel bearings and brakes serviced, changed a tyre, charging the battery overnight tonight. Might even get to start packing a few things tomorrow

Not to mention today that as far as GTG organisation goes we printed all the tickets for the prize giveaway, did the waiver forms, printed out a heap of other assorted documents for the trip, had an easy day on the email and PM front with only about 10 emails back and forth.

Picking up all the shirts tomorrow, along with a few other bits and pieces for fun and entertainment along the way.............. so much to do and so little time!

                        Cheers Andrew

                        • Well it is getting near time to loooose it at work. Got the call that other skipper has failed medical due to falling off his roof at home and breaking a rib. Well you have to ask yourself "and how is this my problem". I have very important, infact life changing shit to do. I don't care if you don't have someone to drive your F%$*ING boat I want to go home to the GTG.

                          Ok sorry rant is over.

                            • So got the transmission looked at... Far worse than I thought possible! I have cooked 3rd 4th and 6th gears, and damaged all the bearings. I will still be putting in a heavy duty clutch as I am getting it all done labour free and parts at trade price. It will still cost more thousands than I will like to admit.
The question remains... Will it be done by the g2g? Hopefully.

                              • Acquired an handheld UHF today... so that strikes one time consuming job off the list. So now I just need to get a couple of other things attended too over the next couple of days while I'm not working and see how we go.
                                Cheers, Leon
