I come home from work today under the car to do oil change and looks like Toyota at the last service rounded the screws on the bd bash plate. what a nightmare to get them out and now need to find some screws tomorrow.Comment

Looking sat the tent setup you may want oswap the position to where the maxtrax are as you will be getting the tent off more often than the maxtarx hopefully.

That would be a solution for someone NOT so vertically challenged as myself
I doubt I'd be able to reach the maxtrax over the foxwing or if the tents on the roof and I need the Maxtrax I wouldn't be able to reach either

well after some late nights over the last six weeks i think i'm finally done !
i installed dual batteries
got some nitto trail grappler mt's fitted
carried out a full major service (all oils filters etc etc)
made clearance for tires lol
replaced rear shocks and front lower control arms bushes
installed an inverter and 12v socket wired to my deep cycle battery
coillected heaps of strap from work lol
fitted new air line fitting for air locker
replaced front strut tops
repaired handbrake (died last pp gtg trip lol)
installed rock sliders
1997 Vx Grande green/silver

Broke my sand flag whilst doing the final GTG recce, looks like a quick last minute job for me
Oh and no idea how but also blew the tyre on the jockey wheel, fortunately I have a new jockey wheel sitting in the shed.
