Will see what happens but apparently have to very careful as an adult as it can lead to a brain infection.... No need for smart arse comments... So am expecting to see some great photos!
Well you definstly don't want a brain infection, so do whatever is best for getting well hey!

Might be able to meet up at talbotville Friday arvo after work. Moved to sale from brisbane earlier this year and keen to check out some spots in the high country. Might have to check out if I can get a snorkel fitted by Friday given the rain we've had.'98 "Getaway" GXL Prado, 3.4L Manual, 2" Ironman Lift, ERPS, Bridgestone Dueler 265/70/R16LT, Prado point sticker - SOLD

At least the Snorkels Not as vital with your Petrol Prado, I did the Area years ago in an FJ40, water over the bonnet, got thru running on 4/6 cylinders after stalling mid river, got water in the diffs thou, so breathers are important, petrols konk out in water Diesel's self destruct.D4D 09 OME Suspension/ARB Winchbar/Safari Snorkel/IPF Spotties/Cooper ST Maxx Tyres/9000LB Tigerz11 Winch with Dynema Rope/GME Remote head UHF/Sheepskin Seat Covers.....Next on list Dual Battery Sys...In Dash GPS...Rear Diff Lock

The newer engines are more water resistant, no distributors & leads, just a coil per cylinder and fairly water repellent.
Naturally never as good as a diesel.
If enuff water enters the intake system and gets to the cylinders either way your screwed.

May well see you up there on Friday! Sav_Prado and I had a trip to Big Desert planned for this weekend with a few mates, but have re-routed to the High Country to try and catch up with you fellow PPers. We are planning to get to Talbotville Friday night and catch up with the Recce Run up there this weekend, so could be another 5 or 6 cars.
Steve (CaLLaN52) if you want to tag along from Berwick on Friday morning youd be more than welcome.
Look forward to catching up with you all on Friday evening, all being well.
Cheers
