For those with trailers at least, they will come the easier way.
That is the plan for caravans & trailers.
We are working on a possible option travelling from Mansfield, to Talbotville this will likely be a no trailer option.
It will depend on the conditions at the time if we can do it at all.

That description of the campground was correct a few years ago. the only thing that has changed is I could now take a Camry in. I will be taking our caravan to Talbertville with a TD auto. I will be in low range for a five km fairly steep decent with the van behind. Ours is single axel 15'6" semi offroad. Hi there barajak, the van also has electric brakes. Going by your description it's a steep road down in ??? Surely even in low range 1st and with electric brakes on van slotted rotors on my Prado it's not going to be that bad ?? Hi Steve, unless it's wet I don't think you would have any problem getting in (or out). There are a few passing places on the last bit in, but as you say people may have to be patient. I have seen a 24+ foot tandem axle full van down there, wondering how the hell he got in and out, but he managed! I intend to bring my Expanda in if the family are coming with me (that's the only way I'd get them there I think!).Originally posted by Steve M View Post

Thanks John, my wife's not into long drops so having her own toilet n shower will keep her extremely happy. We do have porta loo/ shower/ hot water system we normally use but the amount of crap she brings I don't think would have fit in Prado lol with out at least a trailer lol.
