""The access road from Grant is rough in places but is passable in a 2 wheel drive vehicle in dry weather but be warned it can very rough so be careful
Another spectacular route to Talbotville is via the Crooked River Road which leaves the main Bairnsdale to Dargo road just after the Wonnangatta Caravan Park and Waterford Bridge. The Crooked River Road is a slow and winding road through some beautiful country and follows the wonnangatta and then the Wonnungarra River to Talbotville. A 4 wheel drive vehicle is needed on this track as there are quite a few river and creek crossings along the way""" which way would we be coming into the camping area at Talbotville ??? Just deciding wether to bring caravan or not ??.....Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No mods yet

Yes Steve that's it!
For those with trailers at least, they will come the easier way.
That is the plan for caravans & trailers.
We are working on a possible option travelling from Mansfield, to Talbotville this will likely be a no trailer option.
It will depend on the conditions at the time if we can do it at all.
Hey James, you are committee you can answer that :-)
Join?
Too late, already booked out.....? Maybe?

Hi there barajak, the van also has electric brakes. Going by your description it's a steep road down in ??? Surely even in low range 1st and with electric brakes on van slotted rotors on my Prado it's not going to be that bad ?? May be holding a few people up behind me not much I can do about that unless there is enough room to pass me ?? Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No mods yet

Thanks John, my wife's not into long drops so having her own toilet n shower will keep her extremely happy. We do have porta loo/ shower/ hot water system we normally use but the amount of crap she brings I don't think would have fit in Prado lol with out at least a trailer lol. All sweet the van will be coming then. Cheers SteveFace lift 150 Prado V6 auto. No mods yet

Hey Steve, we could always ceremoniously cremate the van if you can't get it out. Apparently, they burn quite well. (Joking of course).Dave

Bugger Bali, get out and see Australia before we sell it all to China.
