I'm pushing it up hill with a pointy stick at the moment, just punched out another 19 hour day, pretty over it at the moment.. One day off in two months and 80 - 90 hour weeks, I've missed two day trips, hopefully not a third adventure.. However, I'm pretty sure Ursos wants his kitchen finished... Will let you know later next week what I'm doing, but I think I need a couple of days off, may end up coming up Saturday.

I'm sure Ian is more concerned about your health than his kitchen.
He wouldn't want you doing 19 hr days & no days off.
See you Friday arvo.
HEY STEVE , it's next weekend not this weekend.

Unfortunately, work and family commitments mean I'll not be able to make it this weekend. Have fun and look forward to hearing how things go.

Hi All,
I am considering coming this weekend, but as I have never been to the area, how easy is it to get in to Tabotville with a Camper (Tvan)?
And which tracks do I take from Dargo?
My aim is to get familar with the area and check out the Dargo High Plains Rd through to the Great Alpine Rd, as that is the route I need to escape from, so I can head to Rydal (near Lithgow), NSW at the end of the GTG.
Please advise.

Hi Stuart,
Plenty of people take camper trailers into Talbotville, you can get a car in via the main track in.
Cheers

Hi Stuart,
You just keep heading north up Dargo high plains rd, once you go up up up, you will come to grant junction, about 18klms from Dargo pub.
You need to turn left there on mc millans rd. follow that 2wd road in all the way & you will run into Talbotville, it's around 14klms on the dirt & a slightly steep decent mainly one way road so be carefull.
There are several other routes into Talbotville that I think you can take an offroad camper trailer but that would be the most simple.
When should we expect you?
