If we are consistent, we will finish packing on Tuesday morning and leave home later than planned. What time are most folks aiming to be at Mansfield on Tuesday?

I'm about ready to fall flat on my face due to tiredness. Mostly due to my paid work and trying to get things organised there. The addition of a GTG 'to-do' list isn't helping. Only a few more days. I need this trip...

                    • I think i'm almost ready work wise. Tomorrow is D-Day. Assuming it goes ok, then packing Saturday and Sunday, and splitting the drive over the Monday and Tuesday. Us SA guys are going to try meet up before mansfield. Mexico is extremely unsafe according to DFAT. We were going to leave Sunday, but realistically, I'd rather reduce the pressure and get there safely. Car goes in for wheel alignment and balance tomorrow. Saturday, quick oil change, plug UHF back in, put AMTS compressor bracket back in. Then, just a couple things on the camper. The Mrs is taking care of all the inside packing and me outside, so should be good to go Monday morning.

I noticed you mentioned meeting in bonnie doon. This could be very unsafe.
I would suggest it may be marginally safer before there in a little town, Yarck.
There is room to stop on the side of the road, shade of a tree, table under it, to sit & eat a very good pie from the shop there on the left. Easy for others too see where u are, cant miss you.
Depends if you like pies...... And of corse your safety.
