A few of the entries looked familiar too, were any repeats from last year?

great photos all!
i tend to agree about the ironman photos, i didn't vote for them for that reason.
if i had the financial backing of a nationwide business to pay for my photo shoot i'm sure i'd get some piccies chosen in the calendar too....

Yep, here it is (same number plates) on their website http://www.ironman4x4.com/deluxe-commercial/
Given there name and the fact that their products are front and centre in the pictures its at least some what promotional.
As others have said, likely being taken by a professional photographer for a corporate isn't really in the spirit of the competition, I also didn't and wouldn't vote based on that alone regardless of the quality of the picture.
If Joe average member came second to a corporate picture taken by a professional they might rightly feel a little ripped off.

Ironman4x4 Photo Clarification
Originally posted by Rogerthatv2 View PostNo offence to ironman but TJM professional photos where removed from last years voting, unsure how or why 2 of the winning entries submitted by Ironman4x4 are any different? Great photos overall however, congrats to the winning entries.

I have previously contacted Pradopoint admin to change my username from Ironman4x4 into my own name, as I wish to continue my involvement in Pradopoint on a personal level being a Prado driver, and not at all related to my work with Ironman 4x4.
I too would agree, that if the vehicle was sign written, it would not be appropriate to submit, however as this is the Prado i drive on a daily basis and the photos are taken by myself, I personally see no reason why these images should be treated any differently than the others.
Just because I work in the 4x4 industry, should not bear any influence of the decision. It was certainly not my intension to post the photos for any advertising purposes.
