March and still no calendars.
PP is a great site. The forum is superb. But a bit of good will is being burnt here for the paying members who I guess are the lifeblood of this site.
I completely understand that sometimes stuff happens and it's sometimes unavoidable. That is totally fair enough. However, there are a few things that could have been done waaay better:
1. If the calendar is part of our annual membership then just send it out to all the paid up members. We shouldn't have to put in a $0 order for it.
2. If we are going to have to place an order for it then give us a few more days to do so. It was a real tight window for getting your order in and a bunch of paid members would have missed it I guess.
3. If the calendar is going to be late LET US KNOW in advance.
4. If the calendar is going to be more than 2 months late let us know WTF is going on.
5. Since you know who is waiting because we all ordered it, you can send out an email to let us know what the delay is rather than us having to come to the forum to find out.
6. If someone emails you multiple times asking where their order is it is good business to reply to them even though there may be information on the forum about the topic rather than delete/ignore their requests.
Leaving us in the dark like this makes me feel like you can't be bothered letting the people who support the site with their $$ know what is going on.
Instead of something we all look forward to (both the buyers and the photographic contributors) the calendar this year has become something that has a bunch of us pissed off.
