Looking to buy a 2.7L 4 cylinder RV

Hi guys!

Im just looking to buy my first Prado and have been looking at 2.7L 4 cylinder RV. This car is fantastic except Im a little unsure about buying a 4 cylinder because it just seems a little small. I would like to know if anyone uses their 4 cylinder off road or for towing - such as a horse float etc and how it handles it.

Also how efficient is it with petrol as Im at uni and dont want to be paying too much out....Is it hard to get one converted to LPG?

I guess Im just looking for the pro's and con's compared to buying the 6 cylinder. I mean Im not 4 wheel driving every week but do go around once a month but do do a bit of towing.

Great little car. I've taken it to Salt Creek 20+ times, Goolwa, Beachport, Canunda, Deep Creek and a few private property's and she's never let me down. Oh the motor's stock, but not for much longer.

From what I've heard + read, they seem ok. Towing a camper etc, doable. Towing a horse + float? I wouldn't, at least not regularly. Depends how often and what exactly you want to tow that will judge whether its wise.
