Really? My guy said that everything manufactured from December will have this. Therefore these would only be 20 days into the build process as of today. How reliable is your source? (Sorry, I just dont want to believe it!!!!)

Shaun He had the Toyota memo their with him, changes for the Gxl were longer mudflaps and privacy glass, the Vx was getting sat nav so it's screen it will change.

Mine was ordered around June or July, was meant to land here on the 13th of November, was then told that it had been "delayed" but Toyota had no idea on why or for how long. Today they tell me they have a production date on the car of 16th December and that it usually takes around five weeks from production to them receiving the car. Fingers crossed there's no more delays. Looking at mid Feb delivery at this stage.

The only bonus to the delay is that it should be complianced as a 2012 model now rather than 2011 if it had have arrived on time.

Hi guys, I am new to this site as I am afirst time Prado buyer. That's right buyer - I am not an owner yet as I ordered my new manual diesel glx in July and they now tell me it will be manufactured in Jan and delivered in Feb. Although I do not yet believe this as they have put the manufacture date back every month since Sept. Still can't wait for our new toy though.

Vinnie the wait will be worth it. Ive just spent the last few weeks north of Perth towing a camper and exploring beaches. What's the old saying, half the pleasure is in the anticipation and I'm sure it will give you a lot of pleasure. Plenty of time to consider the any modifications or additions.

Vinnie, for what it's worth, the Prado I'm getting was ordered in June and supposedly came off the production line on the 16th of December. I say supposedly because I'm yet to see the car, but if that's correct it fits in with the latest time frame you've been given. I'm scheduled to get mine mid Feb at this stage.

G'Day Mate,
I have had a Prado VX on order since September 2011, I was told I would get it at the end of October beginning of November, then was Told December and now have been told I will not get it until February 2012 if I'm lucky so that mite give some idea of when you will get yours, I'm not sure if the GLX will come quicker than the VX

G'day,
I ordered my GXL mid September. Was told today that it is being made and should be in Australia by end of January and I should have it early to mid February. The Toyota on-line tracking system still says 'November Build'.

I have no idea whether GXLs are coming through quicker than any other model, but I'm getting the feeling that east coast buyers are waiting less time than west coasters - any thoughts on that???
