Looks like he has trawled this forum for complaints/comments. A very poor quality article.

(Manual and auto transmissions drove through Toyota's capable part-time 4WD system)

        Except the part-time bit.

Hey Midlife, What bits would you say are actual? At least there is a pic of the 120 in the paper.

            G'day K&M,

I guess there are a few complaints to choose from if he has checked out the Forum, most of them we members already know about, but generally I thought overall it was a favourable review for Prado, as long as you know the Problems to look out for, most seem manageable if you get on to them early enough, at least its informative for those who don't hit the Forums, Like my Mum & Dad who drive a Toyota but are definately not on-line.

Have to ask, How do you manage to jump that high? Are you guys training to do the TV adds? Is that a T..oyota Tee Intersection?
            Which way next?

Cracked dash, soft mounts, less than perfect handling, thirsty petrol (even my old 90 was fuel hungry, dodgy rear doors, injector issues (see the threads on ALL of these issues). SO most of it. Doesn't mean I don't like my rig, or the 90 before that.

                Your right Midlife,

Warts & All it is overall a likeable rig, doin' what most of us do to them.

This is where the Forum is great because with a little info, we can kill the warts before they get real ugly.

I think that's Carguides Intention as well.

                Happy 4 wheelin'
