Prado ZR - Shortage?

Really keen on ZR - but couldn't find any in flesh let alone test drive one yet. So, I sent an email to ~10-15 dealers around where I live and work - none of them had stock. According to car sales new ones (3) are in QLD
Looks like I will probably widen my net - either going to dealers in north or in the city, which I hate.
Does anyone in Sydney knows any dealers got them on display?

PS - not sure this belongs in 3 doors sub forum or not though.

Goldfields Holden had one in the yard last week, silver and stock. Looked OK, don't know about the price. Not many around here either.

I'll wait a few weeks and see whether the dealer(s) are going to offload their 2012s or. I can wait a few months and get 2013, when the price is the same for 2012 and 2013. I am reminding myself that by buying 2012, I'll be doing a favor to the dealer and in return they should be giving me decent discounts

I checked today and the baby Prado has disappeared from the dealer. They tend not to stay on the lot for long. There aren't that many around over here that's for sure.

There is still a few in qld. Trying to find out how much to transfer/fees etc to nsw.
Does anyone know such costs?

If you are buying through a dealer it will be as simple as getting the blue slip done then 12 months rego and green slip.

All up about $800 or so.

Their listed price will already include stamp duty and the difference in qld/nsw stamp duty is bugger all.
