Alloy VS steel ?
Less weight VS Strength
Not intending on hitting anything

Nice Symo, I love my new Prado.
Original plan was to buy a Patrol but I don't like the Nissan service. I should have bought one (Prado) of these damn fine vehicle ages ago instead of wasting my money on fast performance cars.
@Fred63, at this stage the T13 bar from TJM does look good but wait for all the bar to come out or at least the deluxe bar from ARB and the winch bar from TJM. People buy a bar for protection not to drive around and hoping to hit something, the Australian roads (country, outbacks etc.) at night is a dangerous place so having a good reliable bar will save you money in the long run.Comment

Yes that is correct, as it stand I will call mine an SUV because it wont see Gunshot Creek or Billy Goat Bluff track until the complete transformation and some time off from work.
First 4x4 off road driving I will check out is the drive to Cape York, and once I have tackled the long arduous drive to Cape I will drive down south and tackle the High Country.Comment
