Hi all, I am currently researching my next vehicle and have narrowed it down to a 1999-2001 Prado. I see that several people are talking about the duel fuel tanks but I can't seem to find exactly which models have them. I am looking at Prado's with the 1kd-ftv. Thanks

Na only indicator on the 120 series is to have a look underneath. There is one fuel tank on the left under the rear passenger door and one tank under the bum. Unless you fire it up and a green 90lt light is lit on the dash which means it's on its second tank. The 90 series has a switch near your left knee and a second fuel gauge around the same spot. Also the 90 series has two filler holes. The 120 only has one

It's very easy to spot the aux tank under the middle passenger side, next to the rear prop shaft, it hangs down below the chassis (unfortunately ). I think only Aus models have them...?glen_ep - engineered, 4" lift, 33" 255/85R16, lockers, 4.88 ratios www.pradopoint.com.au/showthread.php?17237 www.youtube.com/user/glenep www.fb.com/groups/ToyotaPrado90
