What is the going price for 06 prado GLX 3 T/D

Hi all this is my first post here, i have read lots and learnt a heap in the short time i have been a member... After discussion with local Toyota dealer on a new D4D vehicle he suggested that i sell mine privatly, he thought around $49,500 would be resonable, it done 52000 k's and has seen a bit of light off road but nothing major, so it is all in very good condition. I would be selling without the roof rack, dual batteries, and UHF and it would also be fitted with standard Alloys and BFG all terrains, any comments would be apprectated, cheers

check out redbook.com.au this will give you an idea of the selling price that the average one goes for, this is only a guide but final price is up to you.

That's very reasonable considering the extras you have fitted. Brand new Gxl D4d fetched 60g driveaway. List it on ebay, you might be able to sell it alot quicker. I sold mine within a week. Good luck.

and I think anywhere around 45 to 50 Grand is reasonable, Another trick is get online for Insurance quote even through you are not applying for insurance but after you fill in all there little boxes it gives a insurance quote and valuation basically that valuation is a good indicator of the actual selling price ! Please note not all insurance quote does it but I think its gio, nrma and AAMI have those features

my vx is just about to celebrate it's 1st birthday. i done 16000km's problem free .

I've just got my comprehensive insurance renewal.guess what, my valuation increased from $66,500 to $69000.

Given that insurance companies base their valuations on Redbook/Glasses, it is fair to say the market for used Prado's is very strong.

If my Prado keeps appreciating at this rate, I'll stop investing in the sharemarket and buy Prado's.

I think $49500for a pre D4D would be stretching a bit too far but best of luck
