I think it is a repossessed vehicle.
Here it is.

$62.5k drive away, dearer than a new one.

All NEW cars are now required to be quoted as drive away. Yours must have been a registered demo?

Paddyb, is that price on the road with nothing else to pay?
The reason I ask is I was quoted $59,000 for a 3l diesel with 1200 on the clock, but when I got serious I was told that didn't include $3500 transfer costs.

Long time lurker, first time poster. I got ShopRite to do the haggling for me and got a price just shy of $63,600 for a White 2.8 GXL Auto Diesel with front and middle all weather mats (private purchase, not business). Didn't look for any other extras as I am going after market. Perth Toyota northern suburbs dealer. Arrives in the next two weeks or so. Thanks for all the info from this site, will keep in touch when I start the extras.

New town had the 3.0 listed at 62,500 but am sure there is plenty of room to move. Quoted RRP 69k for the 2.8 but he said that was a starting price. I'm hoping more like 63/64!

Are you going for the 3.0L? I am about to shoot out now on lunch and try and drive both.Originally posted by Prado_Dave View PostLet us know how you go Killswitch. I'm in Perth also and just drove the 3.0 and 2.8 back to back and the performance difference wasn't as pronounced as I hoped
Any talk with the dealers on Price?

Yeah I had no intention on paying that. That's just a verbal over the phone.
Thanks for the feedback. Keep it coming.
Not sure if Perth Tax is added to the prices over here too. I noticed a lot reading through this thread some of the 58ks are over east.

Too Dear !! I paid $60k with tow bar, full tank and 6 free services back in June. With the run out on and limited colour choice I wouldn't be paying anymore now.Originally posted by Killswitch View PostHas anyone bought a GXL in runout at the moment in Perth. Dealer is quoting $62999 drive away for a White TD Auto but will haggle a bit.
Will probably add a ARB Delexe Bullbar and TowBar to the deal too.
To get a better deal go for accessories and free services, they have more fat in them.

Guest replied$58K d.a. was the best I've seen for the runout model without major accessories.

If your not chasing too many extras, I would suggest 61k should be the absolute most you should pay. I had a friend purchase one in June for that price and that was before the runout was on.
