I have to agree with Hornet...

I went for D4D Manual GX. Had added in the price ARB Bull Bar, Snorkel and Cargo Barrier, Tow Bar, and an option pack that gave me ABS and Leather Wheel and Knob and paid under 50K after fleet dissies.

Read today's Herald Sun. There is a Cars Guide liftout there where Prado GXL Auto Petrol is advertised with the saving at more than $5000 at 51,990 with dual aircon.

Im going to my dealer to finalize my order tomorrow, with this new discount I'll probably get option pack one also.
I'd already signed a contract at the old price but fair play to my dealer he says he will adjust the deal now there has been a price drop.

Im so glad my mate was at the motor show, he basically saved me $5000 as I was ready to pay the deposit over a week ago.

A slab of beer is in order I reckon

I was talking to our Toyota fleet manager today and I was asking how long this price reduction is valid for and she replied till the end of June. Apparently there is a component issue in Japan for the D4D motor, she couldn't remeber exactly what it was, so that is why there is a hold up on the D4D (well probably one contibuting factor) so Toyota want to move the V6 hence the discount.

I got the car at the discounted 'special' price but I didnt get any further discounts. When the price goes back up it will seem a real good deal.
