Now to ARB.
Awesome price well done. I'm jealous.
2018 150 Series Crystal Pearl Prado VX 2.8l. 2 inch King springs and Bilstein shocks, Airtek TJM snorkel.
I hope all you guys with new vehicles have read this thread re out of date navigation with no hope of an update ever: http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...igation-System
If you agree that selling a new vehicle with over two year old navigation software and no updates available is unacceptable then please contact:
Toyota Guest Experience Centre Ph: 1800 869 682 (Mon to Fri 8.30am - 5:30pm AEST)
to ask them why this is happening only in the Australian market and when it will be fixed. I guarantee you will not get an answer.
I am about to start looking for a 2016 GX auto. Anyone got any idea of the on road prices for these as opposed to the GXL?
White GX Prado 2.8 litre diesel auto, Jan 2016 build, (5 seat version), with full fuel, reverse park sensors for $54,000. Drive away price.
GXL (White Auto, 2.8 Diesel, 2016 build ) will likely be somewhere between $61,000 and $63,000 ...it then depends on what extras you get.... and I am not sure some folk quote the full 'drive away' price sometimes..so price comparisons can be tricky.

Well, SOME of us guys with new vehicles are just fine. The GX doesn't have satnav. Will be just relying upon my Hema HN7.

Yes I was just trying to stir up some reaction as I am still waiting for the promised update part number PZQ6000750 to materialise. I have been chasing this issue since I drove my new Prado away from the dealership early in December.
I actually think that Toyota wont want to give up on charging customers $300 for an update that the divisional manager has told me will be 18 months out of date anyway.
This is because apparently, (and I quote) "there is a 12-18 month development process between receiving the base map and releasing the update"
I have written back to him suggesting that whoever does this "development process" should be immediately sacked as Garmin, Tomtom and many other companies manage quarterly updates that are up to date so why not Toyota.
Toyota Prado Altitude 2016???
Does anyone have any news if/when the Prado Altitude version will be available in 2016 in the Australian market?
IMHO I don't think there will be an Altitude for the 2016 model, as Toyota just bought time with the model refresh to pave way for the 2017 (or 180 series) model.
QLD. Jan 16 production GXL 2.8, $61000 drive away with full tank, mats and 6yr 175000 warranty. (Silver fleet). Done 950 km, absolutely beautiful to drive. Quality all round! I pushed the salesman for some details on a new model (i.e 180 series) and there is nothing for this year and he said a facelift next year, but IMO i think that was code for a whole new model.
2016 plate GXL 2.8 white, $62500 with towbar, tint, mats, front sensors. Pushed warranty out at settlement an extra 3yr/50k for another $2k, not sure if that was a wise investment or no.
