Told you Neilaction. Driving one will make you cream your pants. If it wasn't for resale and 7 seats, Prado wouldn't sell. V8 performance and an interior and exterior to die for... Thankfully reliability is iffy. That's why Prado sells like hot cakes in the bush. But did I mention it's a bloody rocket?????

I didn't drive the V8, I drove the 3l diesel 6.
Still a rocket compared to the Prado.
Do I need to go back?

And if that isn't enough, there is a 5.7l V8 option for when you're really in a hurry.

No they don't, some European brands offer it, you can usually tell by the green/purple tinge when they glare.

99% of windshield are not coated by law, they have to be completely clear.

A laminated windscreen blocks all of UVB and most UVA radiation. Australian cars all have laminated windscreen as per ADR 8/01.

Down on power and no torque vectoring. Plenty of series 1 GTSs to 'test'. Mind you the salesman might be a little concerned if you started using tv.

That was a very interesting read.
Surprising how far back the new Hilux is and how good the Ranger is.

Makes me want to revisit the Everest and think less favourably about a Fortuner.
I guess what it really does it put the Prado clearly on top again.

Yes not a lot that the Ranger didn't take front place for.

So anyone considering a 3.5 ton dual cab option has to compare that the only real positives to the Prado is that parts are available all around the country fairly readily and fuel tank size...
