    I didn't drive the V8, I drove the 3l diesel 6.
Still a rocket compared to the Prado.
Do I need to go back?

This is a good summary and more or less lines up with my thoughts after short test drives.

          It sure does Dave.

And if that isn't enough, there is a 5.7l V8 option for when you're really in a hurry.

A laminated windscreen blocks all of UVB and most UVA radiation. Australian cars all have laminated windscreen as per ADR 8/01.

Not a JGC, a nice simple V8 like (definitely like) mine.

Down on power and no torque vectoring. Plenty of series 1 GTSs to 'test'. Mind you the salesman might be a little concerned if you started using tv.

                        • Us engineers stick together. I agree with Andrew...

And here are some words to support that hypothesis.

                            • Thanks Samuel.
That was a very interesting read.
Surprising how far back the new Hilux is and how good the Ranger is.

Makes me want to revisit the Everest and think less favourably about a Fortuner.
I guess what it really does it put the Prado clearly on top again.

                              • Yes not a lot that the Ranger didn't take front place for.

So anyone considering a 3.5 ton dual cab option has to compare that the only real positives to the Prado is that parts are available all around the country fairly readily and fuel tank size...
