  • advice on 2016 prado vx

Hi all - new to the forum - hope I've posted in the right area.
Just wondering if I can get some opinions on a purchase I'm looking to pull the trigger on in Qld?
2016 Prado VX / tow bar & wiring / roof rack / full tint / bull bar / cargo barrier / rubber mats / silver - AUD$76500 drive away
Trading in a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder that just turned over 100kms for $20k
    Leaving a changeover of $56,500
Any feedback about the price would be great.
Thanks in advance for any replies.

I 'only' have a 2016 GXL. I went for carpet mats (ideal for general usage) and a rubber cargo mat, but then later obtained a set of Toyota rubber floor mats for when muddier travelling expected. All mats very good quality and floor mats good value at about $100 for 4. I went for white paint (and even the light interior) and kept with standard tinting for better night vision on driver/passenger windows. Overall very happy - but might have selected KDSS if it was a stand alone factory option on the GXL.

Seems like a good price cwb008, you have several thousand $ worth of Toyota accessories and the drive-away price is below retail drive away. While I have only purchased 1 Prado (about 6 weeks ago), generally all of my Toyota purchases (x3 brand new, 1 ex demo) have yielded greater 15% off the retail price. Once you are over 13-15% mark, (I think) you are generally in 'good deal' territory.
2.8L Kakadu (Chrystal Pearl). Extras - Snorkel, tow-bar, tint & bonnet protection. Wish list - Bash-plate, diff breather extension

Hi CWB008 - I am new to the forum too, just joined today. Did you end up purchasing? I am in QLD too and have signed the dotted line last weekend, VX, Diesel, Crystal White. For delivery in October.
