Prado diesel head replacement

Looking at buying a 2002 Prado diesel which has done 300,000km. Is it common for the head to be replaced in this time frame?

The 1kz motor is known for susceptibility to cracked heads. Generally on cylinder 4 due to it being a little hotter than the front.
