That pic has been on google images for years. If they made it unibody instead of ladder chassis frame, they would have to take the Land Cruiser badge off it and that aint going to happen!
Does anyone know whether this will have the GXL or the VX style gauges?
Will the leather be the same as the VX?
I would be interested to know also if the Altitude will have the VX dashboard with Multi-Information display and optitron instruments.
It does not specify that it does in the list on inclusions from the dealer (same as posted on here previous page).
We receive our new altitude m in the first week of April. Everything seems pretty tight lipped. At first our local dealership was to receive them as they were produced (1 in feb, 1 in March, 1 in April) but back in feb was told Toyota have decided to release them all together in April. Also know they have reverted back to the alloy rims instead of the gun metal grey. Don't even know price but have been told around $75,000.
Thanks for that mate. The price of 75K is higher than I was expecting.
Do you know much about the features apart from what was already posted on here? IE: if the have the Multi-Information Display in the dash board or any other features (front parking sensors etc)?
The Altitudes are supposed to have 10K of extra accessories for 5K more than the GXL.
You can get a 2017 GXL on the road for $62,990.
So 75K price tag would mean 10K of extra accessories for 12K extra money...
Edited - Also starting to hear there will be a new generation Prado released in 4th quarter of this year - about October.
Absolutely no idea on the features other than moon roof, leather, DVD ect. Im happy with the price, happy to have the back wheel gone to be honest. If it's any less that's a bonus, but like I said not even the dealer knew the price just did the finance based off $75k to be safe. When I know more I'll let you know, hoping to hear from them in the next week or so, surely??
