I have just found this site after chatting with one of the Toyota Sales Managers on the weekend.
I am looking to trade in my SR5 Hilux(previous model) and purchase a new GXL Prado.
I have a few questions, which I hope some of you will be able to provide some answers, or atleast some suggestions.
1) With the current special Toyota have on petrol Prado's, should I even consider the diesel??
2) Tyres... I have Mickey Thompson FCII on the Hilux, and love them, but am considering Cooper ST's for the new vehicle as a swap on purchase. Are there any issues with these tyres?
3) With a visit to ARB prior to pick-up, the boys will be installing ARB delux bar with additional lights inset into bar, dual battery and additional plug in rear of car(original WAECO plug) for WAECO 80ltr fridge. I would like to have some spot lights installed on the bar, can you please recommend whihc lights, IPF or Lightforce???
I look forward to getting the car before the birth of my first child in a few weeks time. Please note that I have access to a diesel should the advice suggest this would be the best way to go
Thanks for your help
David
