Ok, i have read the rules, cant find any issues with posting the below.. I hope i am not breaking any rules..
What has prompted me to post, is what I found posted on another forum.
Basic story is this, a chap went around to 6 dealers for the best price on a LC 70 series and was quoted about 7K from RRP. Not feeling it was the best price possible, he tried a different method and asked them to "beat this". It seems he was able to negotiate a 13K savings in totalof RRP, plus 180L of diesel???
I know Ive been looking for a good second hand d4d gxl but none that Im happy with (price included).
Went into the dealer the other day and toyo finance gave me a quote for a fully maintained lease on a purchase price of $53.5K.
I went to another dealer and basically they told me that toyo finance organize the quotes and that their price would be no different to 53.5K (maybe just for a lease?)
I would like to ask, what have others been paying recently during the downturn for a turbo diesel GXL?
PS I did search, nothing really popped up
