  • Prado VX 2019

    Hi guys
just wondering what would be a good price to buy a vx. I was offered vx for 71k drive away. Is this good proce or negotiate more? Also is vx worth bit of extra money over gxl?

    Thanks
    Aman

Thatís a pretty good price mate.

Type in 2018 Prado in the search bar and find the 2018 Prado thread in general discussions.

Then scroll through to page 23. There is an active link to which shows what people have been paying for their new Prados and with what inclusions.

This will give you all the info you will need.

Even on toyota website RRP is about 2k more base on WA postcode I guess is due to the crazy dealers delivery and duties

Hi Zad - where abouts are you located. Is that a 2019 new and not registered yet ? or a demo? Best i can get is that price no towbar, no tint. Do you mind telling me which dealer?

Shouldn't be any, if anything less. The ship docks in Fremantle first before anywhere, unloads and they're driven to the dealers. The closest is Melville Toytota, about 5kms straight down the road from the dock. WA just pays more for everything because apparently we're all in mining and making a fortune.

zad Keen to know where your VX was from? I'm not far from Brissy and keen on a similar deal.

I was originally planning on the GXL with the intent on saving money for mods. Priced a 2019 at $61K, but upgraded to the VX at the last minute for $69800. The leather seats were so much nicer and the few other additions that we really liked were persuasive to go beyond the GXL leather pack. It's a 95% on road car, planned for a couple of weeks leave each year and some weekenders, so will probably limit mods in comparison to as originally planned. No ragrets.

Wait, Leather Pack on GXL is different to leather on VX..did not know that, i got kakadu, i thought all leather were the same on Prados.

Sorry for the confusion Brisbane, as far as I know the leather pack is the same on the GXL option, VX and Kakadu. What I meant to say was that the leather seats on the VX were so much nicer than the GXL fabric that I was looking at getting. Liked the leather and decded to get the VX with a few extra additions.
