Buying new prado

Hi,
I'm looking to buy new Prado during this EOFY, heard 2.8 L Deisel engine has issued with DPF and MAF .
I probably drive locally only during weekdays and rarely travel off road or long trips.
Could anyone give me advice about those issues?

Hey Trev, i had a look around, it's seem that no one has big drama with dpf or maf. I called Toyota recall centre and dealer with positive feedback, but there's quite a few horror stories on online product review.
I'm so confuse right now to choose whether Prado or Everest, but Prado is always my favorite and 1st option, still confuse though

With the dpf switch on the new Prado, I wouldn't hesitate to buy one.
