Pedro, My VX ordered on 4/5/2007 shows same date, my dealer is of the belief that car will be at dealership ready to go by that date, he reckons there is about a week or so of fat in that date, Toyota are careful to ensure that any "promise" they make on vehicle tracking is conservative
Good chance it will be with you before then

Yep, the 2 weeks sounds correct, depends on how many options they have to add.

Remember after that expensive pre-delivery some of the things I have found were Tyres pressure at 60psi and lately the interior front panel damage :shock:
I'm sure you'll have a comb with very fine teeth in it :lol: :lol:

Hope you are right, but my dealer says that the "delivery date" is the date it is delivered to them.

The order tracking system seems to confirm this in that the steps are

In transit to Australia (imported vehicles only) - This is what is shown on my tracking list

In transport company's
storage yard

In transit

Being prepared for pick up

Given that on 14/6/07 vehicle was shown as being in transit (photo of boat accompanied statement) I think it would take about 1 week for transport from Japan to Brisbane and a few days for it to clear customs etc.

This makes it about the 27/6/07 as now suggested.

On another matter Drew I do hope your daughter has a quick recovery and is home from hospital very shortly.
