Buying Prado 120 series

Hi All

I'm looking to buy a prado 120 series and I was looking for some expertise and guidance. My preference would be to get Diesel, and if GXL, then post 2008 (for the climate control) and under 250k. I've listed some of my queries and hoping to get some help on them.

• I understand the D4D engine was introduced from 2007, is it better to go for that?
• Any particular years to stay away from?
• Any thing to look out when inspecting a prado?

D4D came before 2007 (I've got a 2006 GXL D4D with 6 speed transmission). Mine has 249 000 kms on it, and will be put out on the market once I get other things sorted.
