  • Higher profile tyres?

I have a new Prado on order and Ive noticed that one of the common modifications on here is to go from 265/65/17 tyres to 265/70/17.
Just wondering if I should go that way first up? Mainly highway driving and not pulling anything major.
What is the advantage of the higher profile?
    Thanks in anticipation.

Unless you are going off-road there is no benefit, in fact you will increase fuel consumption and notice a drop in torque as you are turning a larger diameter. You'll also stuff your speedo accuracy and in some states that size is illegal as it exceeds the size increase that you are allowed

For your use case, no advantage.
